Sox activation occurs concurrent with Cdkn2b activation and IL-32 loss.
Orchestration of developmental transitions whose transcriptional settings pose risk of frank transformation or indicate the existence of transient transformation-like processes will likely involve expression of a homeobox factor concurrent with regulation of senescence factors. We demonstrate here that activation of Sox9 occurs concurrent with Cdkn2b activation and IL-32 loss.
