This research selects Midea Group, a digital benchmark in the home appliance industry, for case analysis. With the theory of technology empowerment, drawing on core literature on digital management accounting and combining the TOE framework, this paper examines Midea Group’s implementation path for management accounting tools during its digital transformation, analyzes the effectiveness of these implementations and existing shortcomings, and proposes optimization recommendations based on these findings. It also contributes to the body of case study evidence on digital management accounting in the home appliance industry.
