ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES OF AUTOMATED TEAM COLLABORATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

This paper presents a comprehensive study of architectural decisions in the design of an automated team collaboration management system. The three-tier client–server architecture with REST API integration, relational database design, and role-based access control (RBAC) model are analyzed. A comparative analysis of existing systems (Jira, Trello, Asana) reveals their limitations for small educational and organizational contexts. The Python/Django + React + PostgreSQL technology stack is justified. Performance testing results confirm the system's suitability for up to 100 concurrent users at P95 < 220 ms with less than 0.5% error rate.

Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive study of architectural decisions in the design of an automated team collaboration management system. The three-tier client–server architecture with REST API integration, relational database design, and role-based access control (RBAC) model are analyzed. A comparative analysis of existing systems (Jira, Trello, Asana) reveals their limitations for small educational and organizational contexts. The Python/Django + React + PostgreSQL technology stack is justified. Performance testing results confirm the system's suitability for up to 100 concurrent users at P95 < 220 ms with less than 0.5% error rate.
