This deposit contains two complementary historical sources documenting socialist emulation within the gas industry of the Azerbaijan SSR in 1970: Order No. 259 issued by A. M. Abdullaev, Head of Glavgaz of the Azerbaijan SSR (dated 28 April 1970), regarding the results of socialist emulation for the first quarter of 1970. The document provides detailed figures, names, and financial incentives allocated to winning collectives and enterprise management (specifically highlighting the Bakgaz Trust). A photo chronicle comprising four photographs from November 1970, capturing the formal meeting and the ceremony where the challenge Red Banner was presented to the staff of the Bakgaz Trust. Together, these materials offer a unique look into the economic mechanisms, moral and material incentives, and visual culture of enterprise management in Soviet Azerbaijan.
