THE STILL LIFE GENRE AS A MEANS OF REFLECTING THE WORLD
This article examines how not only the methods of still life painting have changed over the centuries, but also how artistic experience has accumulated, shaping a complex and ever-evolving vision of the world. Not a single object, but its various properties, has become the subject of transformation, and through the discovery of new qualities in objects, still life is seen as a modern approach to reality. Still life expresses a person's relationship to the world around them. It reveals the artist's understanding of beauty in their time. Although still life depicts motionless, inanimate nature, it consists of objects that are part of the living reality that surrounds us.
