Persepsi Dokter terhadap Kompetensi Perawat di RSUD Siti Aisyah Lubuklinggau: Analisis Domain Komunikasi, Profesionalisme, dan Kolaborasi Tim
This study analyzes doctors' perceptions of nurses' competencies at Siti Aisyah Regional Hospital in Lubuklinggau across three domains: communication, professionalism, and team collaboration. Doctors' perceptions are important for supporting interprofessional collaboration, quality of patient care, and patient outcomes. The study results are expected to identify competency gaps and provide an evidence-based foundation for developing measurable and effective nurse training programs. The study used a quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach, with a sample of 24 doctors who evaluated nurses' overall competencies in their work units. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire containing 11 Likert-scale items and were analyzed descriptively using SPSS 20 and Microsoft Excel 2021. The results showed that 58.3% of doctors rated nurses as less competent, 16.7% as incompetent, and 25% as competent. The communication domain had the lowest percentage (59.83%), especially regarding nurses' responsiveness to medical instructions. Decomposition Analysis identified the biggest gap in the communication domain, while Spearman correlation tests showed that professionalism has the highest correlation. These results highlight the need for structured nurse competency development, particularly in communication, to support patient safety and service quality. Recommendations include implementing e-learning, case reflection forums, setting measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and regular interprofessional team meetings.
