On the Issue of Educational Integration as a Direction of International Legal Cooperation
The relevance of the study is due to the need for a theoretical understanding of educational integration as an independent direction of international legal cooperation in the context of the transformation of the global educational landscape. The purpose of the work is a comprehensive analysis of theoretical approaches to determining integration and educational integration in legal science, as well as identifying the specifics of international legal regulation of educational integration in the system of mutual recognition of documents on higher education. Scientific significance lies in the systematization of doctrinal approaches to understanding the phenomenon of educational integration, the delimitation of related categories. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of using the formulated conclusions to improve the international legal mechanism of educational integration within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The main results allow us to conclude that educational integration represents a qualitatively different level of interstate interaction, the distinctive features of which are the presence of supranational regulatory elements, the participation of a wide range of actors and a high proportion of acts of "soft law." Scientific novelty lies in the justification of the multidimensional nature of educational integration, which is not reduced exclusively to the economic component. The value of the study is determined by the possibility of applying its results to harmonize the educational systems of the EAEU member states.
