Genome sequence of Clostridioides difficile PRB1128, a RT023 strain containing a mobile genetic element allowing for xylitol utilization
ABSTRACT Clade 3 strains of Clostridioides difficile , dominated by PCR ribotype 023 (RT023) strains, remain the least well studied in the phylogeny. We sequenced a strain of RT023 C. difficile (PRB1128) to gain molecular genetic insights and add to the limited repository of RT023 genomes in existence.
