ZONAL SELECTION OF INTERNAL FITTINGS FOR THE SODIUM NITRATE DRYING PROCESS IN A DRUM DRYER
This thesis addresses the issue of the zonal selection of internal nozzles for the effective drying of sodium nitrate in a drum dryer. It has been found that existing G-shaped nozzles do not fully meet the requirement to reduce moisture content from 16-18% to 3-4%, leaving the material at a moisture content of 8-9%. Based on the system analysis performed in the MATLAB environment, it was determined that an inclined lifting-directing nozzle is optimal for zone 1, a 2-segment nozzle for zone 2, a 3-segment nozzle for zones 3-4, and a short tumbling nozzle for zone 5. This approach increases drying intensity and overall efficiency.
