Peay's Theory: The Eleven States — A Unified Model of Symbol, System, Science, and Civilizational Continuity

What is the structural thread that connects the smallest physical scales to the largest? This report presents Peay's Theory of the Eleven States: a framework describing eleven completed states of one continuous structural thread — from fundamental constituents through atoms, molecules, cells, organisms, ecosystems, planetary systems, stars, galaxies, and galaxy clusters, to the cosmic web, which contains all lower scales. The framework was developed through direct analysis of 3,000-year-old Sumerian carved symbols depicting nested structures, and tested against three prior traditions that engaged adjacent questions: Plato's doctrine of anamnesis, Penrose's conformal cyclic cosmology, and the Hindu-Buddhist doctrine of samsara. Each tradition is shown to hold a genuine piece of the pattern while collapsing at a specific point under testing. We find that the eleven states form a single continuous thread rather than separate births or cycles, with the cosmic web functioning as both endpoint and origin — a cosmic womb looping back into the next cycle. Scope and limits: this report presents a structural framework, not a quantitative physical theory, and does not claim experimental verification. It is released to the peer community for open review. Abstract
