Voter Access in a Blockchain-Based Secure Voting System

Secure voting requires dependable voter authentication, prevention of repeat voting, protection of ballot data, and an auditable procedure. Both traditional and online voting methods can be vulnerable to identity fraud, unauthorized entry, centralized management, and inadequate transparency. This paper proposes a voter-access system that integrates AI-based facial verification with a blockchain-oriented workflow for processing votes. Each voter is enrolled using an authorized voter ID and reference facial data. Before selecting a candidate, the system performs identity validation, including OTP verification when enabled. The live facial image is then matched against the registered reference, while the system checks whether a vote has already been cast before submission. Tamper evidence and auditability are supported through cryptographic hashing and smart-contract-based recording. The proposed architecture consists of a web frontend, a Spring Boot backend, local storage, an AI verification service, and a blockchain layer
