APPLICATION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE USE OF SOLAR ENERGY

This article analyzes the possibilities of applying modern digital technologies in solar energy systems. It examines the potential of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), the Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Twin, Edge AI, cloud computing, Big Data, blockchain, drones, robotic maintenance, GIS, SCADA, smart inverters, and AR/VR technologies to improve the efficiency of solar photovoltaic power plants, forecast electricity generation, detect technical faults at an early stage, and optimize energy flow management. Digital technologies make it possible to monitor the real-time status of solar energy facilities, forecast power generation based on meteorological data, detect faults in panels and inverters, and automate maintenance. The article also highlights promising directions, including AI-based Digital Twins, Edge AI, federated learning, autonomous drone inspection, and blockchain-based peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading.
