Propuesta de mejoramiento paisajístico mediante la implementación de especies vegetales en el estrato herbáceo para el Parque de la parroquia Fátima, Pastaza

This article presents the results of a comprehensive evaluation of Fátima Parish Park. The objectives of the research focus on proposing landscape improvement strategies, specifically through the introduction of plant species in the herbáceous layer. The methodology includes a detailed analysis of the current conditions of the park, evaluation of the most suitable plant species for the environment and an implementation plan considering climatic and maintenance factors. In addition, AutoCAD 3D software was used for the redesign, it has facilitated the development of a landscape redesign, offering three-dimensional visualizations that will guide the implementation of the project. The main results highlight the selection of suitable plant species for the herbáceous layer: Hibiscus sabdariffa L., Crotalaria juncea L., Mentha L. and Anthurium andraeanum Lind. CV. Nicoya. For the tree layer, Erythrina crista-galli L. was proposed. In addition, a landscape design was carried out that improves the aesthetics and functionality of the park, but also promotes sustainable maintenance practices, ensuring its durability. The research highlights the importance of carrying out planned interventions adapted to natural environments, highlighting the significant impact of landscape improvement on the quality of community life by enriching the social, cultural and recreational dimensions, in addition to promoting local environmental conservation.
