Sistem Informasi Data Penghuni Kamar Asrama A.20 Berbasis Website

The management of dormitory room occupant data, which is still carried out manually, often results in various operational problems, including data entry errors, delays in updating information, and difficulties in retrieving data when occupants move between rooms. These conditions indicate the need for a system capable of managing occupant data automatically, accurately, and systematically. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Information System for Room Occupant Data Management in Dormitory A.20 to address the identified problems. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which consists of four main stages: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The technologies used include PHP, the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, and MySQL as the database management system. The results of black-box testing indicate that all system functions operate in accordance with the specified functional requirements. The developed information system is expected to replace the manual data management process, thereby reducing the risk of errors and enhancing the efficiency of managing dormitory occupant information.
