ECOLOGICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR ASSESSING THE SEASONAL DYNAMICS OF NEMATODES IN THE DOG ROSE RHIZOSPHERE UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF SURKHANDARYA
Seasonal changes in the nematode community in the root zone of dog rose (Rosa canina L.) constitute a complex ecological process associated with soil moisture, temperature, plant phenology, and food resources. This article systematizes the scientific criteria for monitoring this process under the conditions of Surkhandarya, the procedure for repeated sampling, the analysis of nematodes by trophic groups, and methodological limitations in interseasonal comparisons. Local faunistic data indicate the occurrence of free-living and plant-associated nematodes in the roots and rhizosphere of dog rose. It is substantiated that reliable conclusions about seasonal dynamics require repeated quantitative observations at the same sites rather than a one-time faunistic inventory. The proposed monitoring scheme is designed to record species composition, individual density, soil factors, and phytosanitary indicators separately.
