Nutritional status is one of the indicators that reflects the health condition of school-aged children. Nutritional status is influenced by various factors, including physical activity and breakfast habits. Physical activity contributes to energy expenditure, while breakfast habits contribute to meeting the energy and nutritional needs required for children's growth and development. This study aimed to determine the relationship between physical activity and breakfast habits with nutritional status among school-aged children at SDN 64/IV Jambi City. This study employed a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 88 respondents were selected using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instruments used were the Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children (PAQ-C) to measure physical activity, a breakfast habits questionnaire to assess breakfast habits, and measurements of body weight and height to determine nutritional status. Data were analyzed using the Kendall Tau test. The results showed that most respondents had a moderate level of physical activity (47.7%), fair breakfast habits (70.5%), and good nutritional status (51.1%). Bivariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between physical activity and nutritional status (p = 0.001; r = -0.325) and a significant relationship between breakfast habits and nutritional status (p = 0.004; r = -0.285). Both relationships indicated a negative direction with weak correlation strength. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between physical activity and breakfast habits with nutritional status among school-aged children at SDN 64/IV Jambi City.
