STABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE NEWLY DEVELOPED EO–PO–PDMS-BASED REAGENT EG1951E

This study investigates the physicochemical stability and environmental characteristics of EG1951E, an EO–PO–PDMS-based antifoaming composition designed for use in natural gas treatment processes involving amine solutions. It was established that the developed reagent exhibits high thermal and chemical stability at elevated temperatures (100–120 °C) and maintains its effectiveness in aggressive media containing acid gases and amine absorbents. The results indicate that EG1951E does not adversely affect the properties of diethanolamine solutions, including pH, concentration, and regeneration capacity, suggesting that the composition is chemically inert under the conditions investigated.
