Decipherment of the Proto-Elamite Script under the Wikaira Decipherment Framework

This scientific working paper presents the decipherment of the Proto-Elamite Script (Susa, Iran, c. 3100–2900 BCE) under the Wikaira Decipherment Framework. Analyzing administrative clay tablets from the MDP 26 collection, it demonstrates category-specific metrology: Decimal System (D) strictly for animate labor gangs and livestock (e.g. Scheil no. 45 with 591 workmen, Scheil 160 with 1,108 workers); Sexagesimal System (S) for manufactured goods; and Capacity Systems (C) for grain and rations.
