Responsible Management of Artificial Intelligence in Education: Balancing Innovation, Ethics, and Student Well-Being

Abstract Integration of AI in the educational system is rapidly changing the face of education by offering new possibilities of personalized learning and efficient management at the same time creating serious issues related to student autonomy, data security, and psychology. The paper suggests a holistic framework for the management of AI in education by using recommendations for the responsible use of AI in various spheres developed by international organizations like UNESCO together with recent findings about the psychological state of students. We suggest that successful integration of AI into educational practices should be based on a transition from technology-based management of AI to human-based one where student well-being becomes one of the major ethical considerations.

Abstract

Abstract Integration of AI in the educational system is rapidly changing the face of education by offering new possibilities of personalized learning and efficient management at the same time creating serious issues related to student autonomy, data security, and psychology. The paper suggests a holistic framework for the management of AI in education by using recommendations for the responsible use of AI in various spheres developed by international organizations like UNESCO together with recent findings about the psychological state of students. We suggest that successful integration of AI into educational practices should be based on a transition from technology-based management of AI to human-based one where student well-being becomes one of the major ethical considerations.
