Identificação de fatores de risco e prevenção das neoplasias malignas na cavidade oral: revisão de literatura.

Oral health promotion, especially given the high prevalence of malignant oral cavity neoplasms and the importance of their early detection, is understood as a priority in professional training and community care. In this context, the study aims to understand early detection strategies by identifying screening methods, educational initiatives, patient profiles, and referral protocols. To achieve this, the research methodology employed a literature review conducted through an extensive text search, gathering scientific articles from the SciELO, Grey Literature, and PubMed databases. The results provided an overview of the main risk factors and prevention methods for malignant neoplasms affecting the oral cavity, highlighting strengths and weaknesses that contribute to improving care quality and the community impact of these strategies.
