A 2025 field experiment on irrigated light sierozem soils in Andijan Region evaluated the effects of Avguron Extra on leaf abscission and boll opening in CP-210 cotton. Five treatments were studied in four replications. Treatments were applied at 45.0–47.0% open bolls. At 0.150 L/ha, leaf abscission reached 69.9% and 89.2%, and boll opening reached 73.3% and 91.5%, at 7 and 14 days after treatment, respectively. At day 14, these values exceeded the Suyuq XMD reference treatment at 8.0 L/ha by 6.3 and 7.5 percentage points. Increasing the rate to 0.200 L/ha provided no additional advantage. The 0.150 L/ha rate was promising under the conditions studied. Keywords: cotton, CP-210, light sierozem soil, Avguron Extra, defoliation, leaf abscission, boll opening.
