Subject. Theoretical and practical aspects of improving the commodity supply system in wholesale trade based on effective inventory management. Objectives. Evaluate the effectiveness of inventory management based on ABC analysis. Methods. General scientific research methods were used. Results. The role of wholesale trade in ensuring the continuous movement of goods between producers and consumers, maintaining the stability of the domestic market and increasing the efficiency of trading activities is considered. The analysis of scientific approaches to the definition of the essence of wholesale trade and its functions in the modern economy is carried out. The trends in the development of wholesale trade in the Republic of Uzbekistan have been studied, and the main performance indicators of the Sherzod Zoovet Malham LLC enterprise have been analyzed. It has been revealed that the growth in sales and profits of the enterprise is accompanied by problems of assortment and inventory management related to changes in consumer demand and a decrease in the turnover of individual goods. To improve the efficiency of inventory management, the use of the ABC analysis method is proposed, which makes it possible to classify goods according to their level of economic importance. Based on the results obtained, recommendations have been developed for optimizing inventory, improving procurement activities, and increasing the efficiency of using warehouse resources. Conclusions. The introduction of modern inventory management methods helps to increase the profitability, liquidity and competitiveness of wholesale trade enterprises.
