A New Understanding of Hierarchy: The Fifth Dimension and Projection Equations in UWCM
This work continues the development of the Unified Wave Cosmological Model (UWCM) and formulates the mathematical apparatus of Projection Equations. In accordance with the Principle of the Internal Observer, which excludes the possibility of constructing a global Plast equation "from the outside", a system of equations is proposed that describes the rules by which the hidden multidimensional dynamics of the network manifest on the four-dimensional physical screen. For the first time, a fifth dimension is introduced — the depth of the framework, along which the hierarchy of the Plast is discretely quantized [1]. It is shown that the topological code (N, p) is the coordinate of a node in this fifth dimension: N is the longitudinal coordinate (nesting level), p is the transverse coordinate describing the internal degree of freedom of the pentagonal cell (not an additional dimension). The geometric step along the fifth dimension is δ = √2.5 and is determined by the topology of the pentagonal cell Z₅. The key statement of the work: the fifth dimension is not a new entity and not a new interpretation. It is a new understanding of the hierarchy that already existed in UWCM from the very beginning [1], [2]. The hierarchy was not "added" — it was seen as a coordinate, not as a metaphor. The fifth dimension does not compactify and does not disappear — it loses distinguishability at the macroscopic scale. Relying on the experimental data of the RHIC/STAR collider (2026) on the Y-shaped structure of the baryon junction [3], a dimensionless ladder of mass quantization is derived. It is shown that the entire spectrum of fundamental particles from the electron to the top quark obeys a strict geometric step δ = √2.5 and is encoded by a pair of integers (N, p). The topological capacity of the level N₀ = 77, introduced in [4] and [12], receives here a geometric interpretation as D_max — the maximum Planck capacity of the local network. The work continues the historical line of attempts to derive the mass spectrum from first principles (Koide, Barut, Eddington approaches), differing from them by a unified ontology of the discrete network [5] and an honest acknowledgment of projection shifts explained by the evolution of the Plast state [6]. Energy and information are considered inseparable — in accordance with Part 1 of the cycle [23].
