ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN EFISIENSI SISTEM RUSPIN DAN METODE KONVENSIONAL PADA PEMBANGUNAN RUMAH BERBASIS KOMUNITAS DAN SWADAYA DI KABUPATEN BREBES
This study aims to analyze the efficiency level of the Instant Panel Superior House System (RUSPIN) and conventional construction methods in house construction and to determine the efficiency differences between the two methods in terms of cost, time, work quality, labor productivity, and ease of implementation. The study employed a quantitative comparative approach involving 80 respondents, consisting of 40 respondents from the RUSPIN group and 40 respondents from the conventional group. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive analysis, validity testing, reliability testing, Shapiro–Wilk normality testing, and the Mann–Whitney U test. The descriptive analysis showed that the RUSPIN system had a higher efficiency level than the conventional method for all research variables, namely cost efficiency (4.4000; 3.2375), time efficiency (4.4375; 3.2875), work quality (4.1525; 3.9062), labor productivity (4.4250; 3.8563), and ease of implementation (4.4812; 2.5000). The Mann–Whitney U test results indicated that all variables had Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) values < 0.001, indicating significant differences between the RUSPIN system and conventional construction methods. The mean rank values of the RUSPIN group were higher than those of the conventional group for all research variables. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the RUSPIN system is descriptively and statistically more efficient than conventional construction methods in terms of cost, time, work quality, labor productivity, and ease of implementation in house construction. Therefore, the RUSPIN system has the potential to become a more effective and efficient alternative construction method for public housing development.
