Gesher's Theory: Persistent Past Frames as a Source of Dark Energy
This paper proposes that time advances in discrete frames, and that each past frame does not vanish when it stops being the present: it leaves a fading imprint that keeps acting on later frames. We introduce a finite-memory decay model for that imprint and derive a first result: with a steady source, the accumulated memory settles at a constant energy density, the defining feature of a cosmological constant. If the source or the memory time changed over cosmic history, the same model gives evolving dark energy, the possibility recent DESI data hint at. As separate conjectures, not yet derived from the model, we propose that dark matter and antimatter are further expressions of the same persisting past.
