Draft genome sequence of Bacillus cereus strain MHES1, a potential multiple stress-tolerant plant probiotic isolated from the rhizosphere of Rotala ramosior grown in the coastal belt of Barguna, Bangladesh
ABSTRACT This study reports the draft genome sequence of Bacillus cereus strain MHES1, isolated from the rhizosphere of Rotala ramosior in coastal Bangladesh. The 5.7-Mb genome contains 5,607 protein-coding sequences and genes associated with plant growth promotion, salinity tolerance, and resistance to arsenic, cadmium, and lead, supporting its potential for sustainable agriculture.
