AS CONTRIBUIÇÕES DE UMA EPISTEMOLOGIA FEMINISTA PARA A PRODUÇÃO DE CONHECIMENTO NA ÁREA DE EDUCAÇÃO

This article aims to study the feminist epistemology subsidies and offer to build an educational knowledge. Therefore, it indicates understanding the formation of an educational episteme in Brazil while considering the challenge posed by the capitalist system and the impact of neoliberal politics. The research embraces gender as an analytic category that offers a different view of the scientific investigation, capable of revealing new possibilities for knowledge formation. Beyond being a primary effort to explore the intersection between feminist epistemology and education, this work uses the literature review, being our goal to reveal and deconstruct traditional concepts through the gender category enlightening and providing a reflexive criticism about educational practices.
