Guillain‐Barré Syndrome in Late Pregnancy Following Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection: A Diagnostic Dilemma
ABSTRACT The diagnosis of Guillain–Barré syndrome (GBS) relies on evolving clinical features, supported by cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), laboratory investigations, and electrodiagnostic studies. Early investigations may be nondiagnostic and should not delay treatment when progressive neurological deterioration raises clinical suspicion of GBS. Timely treatment is crucial in optimizing maternal and fetal outcomes.
