ANALISIS PENGARUH VOLUME LALU LINTAS TERHADAP TINGKAT KERUSAKAN PERKERASAN JALAN (Studi Kasus Jalan Kasepuhan–Kalitanjung)

This study aims to analyze pavement distress conditions, examine the relationship between traffic volume and pavement condition, and determine maintenance priorities along the Jalan Kasepuhan–Kalitanjung corridor. The Surface Distress Index (SDI) method was used to evaluate pavement conditions, while statistical analysis using SPSS was employed to determine the relationship between Average Daily Traffic (ADT) and SDI values. The research data were obtained through pavement condition surveys and traffic surveys conducted on six road sections. The results showed that SDI values ranged from 72.00 to 93.83, indicating that all road sections were classified as fair condition. The highest SDI value was found on Jalan Kesambi (93.83), while the lowest was on Jalan Pulasaren (72.00). Statistical analysis indicated an average ADT of 2,352.50 vehicles/day and an average SDI of 86.04. The Pearson correlation analysis produced a correlation coefficient of 0.345 with a significance value of 0.503 (> 0.05), indicating a positive but weak and statistically insignificant relationship between ADT and SDI. Simple linear regression analysis resulted in the equation SDI = -185.580 + 0.115(ADT) with a coefficient of determination R² = 0.119, meaning that ADT explains only 11.9% of the variation in pavement condition. Based on the combination of SDI and ADT values, the maintenance priority order was Jalan Kesambi, Jalan Kalitanjung, Jalan Lawanggada, Jalan Ariodinoto, Jalan Kasepuhan, and Jalan Pulasaren. In general, the pavement condition along the study corridor is still capable of serving traffic demand; however, a periodic maintenance program is required to prevent further deterioration. Keywords: Surface Distress Index, ADT, road distress, pavement condition, maintenance priority.

This study aims to analyze pavement distress conditions, examine the relationship between traffic volume and pavement condition, and determine maintenance priorities along the Jalan Kasepuhan–Kalitanjung corridor.
