The Musical Model of the Universe: Ontological Framework, Numerical Network, and Limits of Applicability Final work based on the corpus, critical review, and joint refinement
AbstractThis work brings together the results of the "Musical Model of the Universe" corpus, its critical review, and the joint refinement of positions. It is not a physical theory and does not claim predictive power. Its task is to precisely fix the status of the model: what is asserted, what is confirmed, what is refuted, where physics agrees, where it does not yet, and what remains open. The work has three layers:1. Ontological — process is primary, object is secondary (spectrum → particles → fields).2. Phenomenological — logarithmic mass scale, pure octaves (spectrum doublings), the n/p comma, the baryon ladder.3. Methodological — the boundaries between number, image, and proof. The central conclusion: the model is a language of description and an ontological framework, not a theory of mechanism. Its strengths lie in the precision of numerical facts, in the honest separation of layers, and in a consistent ontology of "spectrum is primary." Its weaknesses lie in the absence of dynamical equations and in the statistical insignificance of octave coincidences. Both groups are explicitly stated.
