Una aproximación al panorama crítico del teatro ecológico en España en el siglo XXI

Building on the idea of theatre as a mirror of reality and on the responsibility it assumes in engaging with social demands with particular sensitivity, this article proposes an approach to ecological theatre in twenty-first-century Spain. To this end, it offers a critical overview of ecologically oriented plays and dramaturgical projects produced in recent years, especially between 2017 and 2024, which highlights the growing prominence of ecosocial themes in this field.
