On the Interpretation of Sagnac Effects: Haug and Spavieri's Reply to Lambare

We present a critical reply to the analysis recently put forward by Justo Pastor Lambare La . While Lambare explores the application of special relativity to accelerated systems via the hypothesis of locality, his discussion overlooks crucial foundational insights and the advances in optical and relativistic physics over the past century. Specifically, he fails to recognize that the linear Wang-Sagnac effect proves Sagnac-type phenomena are fundamentally independent of noninertiality. Furthermore, contrary to Lambare's claim, the local differential speed utilized in his derivations corresponds precisely to the variant Galilean speed (or Tangherlini-Selleri / LTA transformations), confirming that the one-way speed of light is not invariant for a moving observer. By avoiding the spacetime continuity breach inherent in standard Lorentz transformations (LT) and incorporating a classical entanglement-like synchronization, we arrive at a viable interpretation of relativistic paradoxes and Sagnac effects beyond one-way light-speed conventionalism and within coordinate transformations (LTA) based on absolute simultaneity. Keywords: Sagnac effect, Wang-Sagnac, Tangherlini-Selleri transformations, LTA, Absolute simultaneity, One-way speed of light, Clock syncronization.
