Five new species of Shaanxinus Tanasevitch, 2006 (Araneae, Linyphiidae) from China

Five new species of the genus Shaanxinus are described from Gansu, Guizhou, Shaanxi, and Sichuan Provinces, China: S. baitianhe sp. nov ., S. kuankuoshui sp. nov ., S. liangdang sp. nov ., S. micangshan sp. nov ., and S. zhongzhai sp. nov . Detailed descriptions, photographs of the copulatory organs and somatic features of all five species, and a distribution map are provided. In addition, colour photographs of the body and genitalia of Shaanxinus griseolineatus (Schenkel, 1936) are presented. This study improves our understanding of the species diversity, distribution, and morphological variation of Shaanxinus , and underscores the importance of further integrative taxonomic research in this biologically diverse yet poorly sampled region.
