Abstract This study examines the relationships between perceived public institutional support and entrepreneurial engagement among young people in Morocco, with perceived entrepreneurial feasibility as a mediating mechanism. The proposed model links perceived public institutional support to perceived entrepreneurial feasibility, which is then related to entrepreneurial intention, commitment to the entrepreneurial project, and readiness for entrepreneurial action. The study follows a positivist paradigm and uses a quantitative, hypothetico-deductive, cross-sectional design based on an online questionnaire distributed through social media. Data collection aimed to obtain approximately 100 valid responses. The model was analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) in SmartPLS. The standardized path coefficients are positive: 0.595 for the relationship between institutional support and feasibility, and 0.732, 0.701, and 0.745 for the relationships between feasibility and intention, project commitment, and action readiness, respectively. The corresponding R² values are 0.354, 0.536, 0.491, and 0.556. The indirect effects through feasibility are positive and statistically significant (p < 0.001). The measurement model also shows satisfactory internal consistency and convergent validity for all five constructs. These findings highlight the role of young people’s perceptions of the accessibility of public support and its ability to make business creation feasible. Keywords: perceived public institutional support; perceived entrepreneurial feasibility; entrepreneurial intention; commitment to the entrepreneurial project; readiness for entrepreneurial action; Morocco.
