A key for the identification of green algae (Chlorophyta) of the White and Barents Seas

For the first time, a detailed polytomous identification key has been developed for 66 species spanning all taxonomic groups of Chlorophyta in the White and Barents Seas, addressing a gap in the reference literature for this group. The identification key is based on a combination of morphological and ecological features and is supplemented with useful references and supporting materials.
