Golden-Root Anyon Braiding Code — E8 Intelligence Research

We identify a new class of topologically protected qubit encoding where anyon exchange phases are quantized according to the golden ratio φ = (1+√5)/2, derived directly from the phi-coupled concentric shells of the 240 E8 root vectors. The discrete orthogonality constraints between adjacent shells provide natural error-suppression boundaries, making this scheme inherently robust against local perturbations. This construction extends the earlier E8 resonant QEC framework by replacing continuous stabilizer generators with discrete, geometrically locked phase factors rooted in the E8 root lattice symmetry. The resulting code achieves a higher fault-tolerance threshold than conventional surface codes while remaining compatible with physical implementations using superconducting circuits. Abstract
