Pre-registration: external confirmatory test of a naming-level recommendation for cross-species antimicrobial resistance prediction

One pre-registered confirmatory test of a recommendation from a development study of cross-species antimicrobial resistance prediction: that naming AMRFinderPlus determinants by exact name plus AMRFinderPlus subclass gives a higher mean cross-species AUROC than exact names alone. The test, its single success criterion, the data source, the cohort rules and the frozen analysis code are fixed in this document before any external data was retrieved. The analysis notebook is pinned by SHA-256. The result will be reported whichever way it comes out.
