A MODEL FOR ASSESSING TEACHERS' DIGITAL COMPETENCE

The development of digital technologies has significantly transformed the educational process and increased the need for teachers to develop digital competence. Teachers are expected not only to use digital tools but also to integrate them effectively into teaching, assessment, communication, and professional development. This study aims to propose a model for assessing teachers' digital competence. The proposed model includes five main dimensions: technological skills, digital pedagogical competence, digital content development, online communication and collaboration, and digital safety and professional development. The model combines self-assessment, practical tasks, and the analysis of teachers' professional activities. It can help identify teachers' strengths, determine areas for improvement, and develop targeted professional development programmes. The proposed approach may contribute to improving the quality of teacher education and supporting the effective integration of digital technologies into educational practice.
