Assessing the Efficacy of Corporate Mental Wellness Programs on Employee Burnout in the Philippines

This study analyzed the efficacy of corporate mental wellness programs in decreasing employee burnout in the Philippines. The study reviewed corporate wellness schemes, including physical wellness programs, counseling and psychological support, wellness respondents from the various labor sectors in the Philippines with the structured, validated, researcher-made questionnaire. Frequencies, percentages, weighted means, standard deviations, and Spearman's rank-order correlation were used to analyze the collected data. The findings of the study showed no significant relationships between the corporate wellness program dimensions and employee burnout dimension. However, all four workplace wellness dimensions exhibited a positive relationship with professional efficacy. The findings suggested that wellness initiatives alone do not significantly reduce burnout. Organizations need to strengthen program accessibility and address workplace demands alongside employee support.
