TikTok Investment Content Exposure and Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) as Predictors of Sharia Stock Investment Intention among Generation Z in Blora Regency

This study examines TikTok investment-content exposure and fear of missing out (FOMO) as predictors of sharia-stock investment intention among Generation Z in Blora Regency. Multiple linear regression analyzed questionnaire responses from 100 purposively selected residents aged 18–28. Exposure positively predicted intention (B = 0.667, p < 0.001), whereas FOMO was nonsignificant (B = 0.079, p = 0.266). The model explained 61.6% of observed variance. BCa confidence intervals from 5,000 bootstrap resamples supported these partial-test conclusions. Findings concern sample-specific associations with intention; purposive sampling, self-reported measures, and residual nonnormality limit generalization and causal interpretation.
