The Past as Wall Material
This paper presents a speculative extension of Wave Origin Cosmology (WOC), proposing that the cosmic microwave background (CMB) serves as the material medium of the nucleation wall through which uncomputed wave potential is converted into observable physical structure. The framework distinguishes between the CMB as the wall itself, the CMB as a location behind the wall, and the CMB as the material acted upon by the WOC conversion mechanism. It adopts the third interpretation, arguing that the CMB provides the underlying medium while the proposed WOC mechanism supplies the conversion process. Drawing on the observer-centered geometry of the cosmic microwave background, the paper explores how each observer possesses a distinct last-scattering sphere while sharing a common primordial origin. It further develops the interpretation of the past as the material feeding the present, examines the possibility of observer-generated disturbances propagating into this medium, and identifies potential observational connections involving the CMB dipole, quasar dipole anomalies, and directional asymmetries in light propagation. The proposal is explicitly speculative and does not claim experimental confirmation. Its purpose is to develop the conceptual structure of WOC and identify possible connections between cosmological observations, observer-dependent geometry, and the emergence of physical reality.
