Individual Subjectivity And Creative Initiative: The Unity Of Freedom, Responsibility, And Self-Realization In Building An Innovative Society
Creative initiative is examined through relations of choice, authorship, and responsibility. Agency theory is compared with the capability approach. Freedom is distinguished from resource access, while responsibility is separated from punishment for failure. The analysis establishes the conceptual importance of combining decision authority with support.
