Collaboration of the Urals and Belarus in the construction of a potassium plant in the BSSR based on the materials of the newspaper "Za Kalii" of the Bereznikovsky potassium plant in the early 1970s

The article by Ural researchers examines the problem of the relationship between the two largest teams of the Ural and Belarusian potash enterprises, which closely cooperated since the late 1950s, when the construction of the enterprise in the BSSR began. It was then that the Urals provided great assistance to the Belarusian potash workers. Then it developed into close cooperation, which helped to jointly solve similar problems of an industrial and social nature. Later, the Soligorsk people outgrew their former Ural teachers in terms of production volumes and the volume of tasks being solved, but the close friendly relations between the teams helped them solve the problems of the industry. This is exactly what the materials of the Uralkali newspaper testify to. They directly convey the pulse of the production and social life of two large teams of two large economic regions of the USSR, showing the advantage of proactive, rather than prompted from above, interregional cooperation. The article is part of a large project.
