INFINITY MECHANICS — Foundational Principles — Conceptual Framework and Research Program

Infinity Mechanics (IM) proposes that physical reality consists of one uninterrupted, intrinsically asymmetrical, perpetually reorganizing continuum. The continuum contains within itself the structures and processes governing its behavior; no external medium or governing agent is required. Its foundational commitments reject absolute physical nothingness, terminal stillness, fundamental scale cutoffs, and a division of physical reality into ontologically separate classical, quantum, and cosmological domains. The framework interprets observed physical differences as consequences of organization, propagation, and scale-dependent observation within the same continuum. It proposes that phenomena conventionally described through cosmological expansion, gravitational interaction, and inertia may instead be understood through the continuum’s internal dynamics. The foundational principles define the ontology of IM. The proposed mechanisms and mathematical formulations are hypotheses to be developed and tested. Their consistency with the ontology does not by itself establish that they reproduce observed physical behavior. A central objective is to determine whether the framework can be expressed as a mathematically self-consistent theory that yields quantitative, falsifiable predictions.
