Digital Literacy Training for Adolescents on Prevention of Early Marriage as an Innovation in Reduce Stunting in Wonoayu Village

Early marriage is an important adolescent health issue associated with reproductive health risks and potential intergenerational nutritional problems. This community service activity aimed to improve adolescents’ knowledge of digital literacy for early-marriage prevention as an approach supporting stunting reduction in Wonoayu Village, Sidoarjo Regency. A community-based educational intervention was conducted using a pre-test–post-test approach involving 20 adolescents on 2–3 July 2026. The intervention included education on early marriage, stunting, and digital literacy through lectures, discussions, demonstrations, simulations, and practical activities. All participants attended the activity, resulting in 100% participation. Before the intervention, 20% of participants had very good knowledge, while 65% had good knowledge and 15% had poor knowledge. After the intervention, 85% had very good knowledge, 10% had good knowledge, and 5% had sufficient knowledge. Digital literacy training integrated with early-marriage and stunting education demonstrated a positive immediate improvement in adolescent knowledge. Continued mentoring is recommended to strengthen knowledge retention and sustainable health-promotion practices.
