THE ROLE OF BIOTECHNOLOGY IN MODERN MEDICINE
Biotechnology has become one of the most important fields in modern medicine, providing innovative solutions for disease diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. Advances in biotechnology have contributed to the development of genetic engineering, molecular diagnostics, vaccines, targeted therapies, and regenerative medicine. This article examines the role of biotechnology in improving healthcare and discusses its impact on early disease detection, personalized treatment, and medical research. The study highlights that biotechnological methods help scientists understand the molecular mechanisms of diseases and create more effective therapeutic approaches. However, challenges such as high costs, ethical concerns, and technical limitations should also be considered. The article concludes that biotechnology plays a significant role in the future development of medicine and has great potential to improve human health.
