From SSC Capabilities to Lot Acceptance Assessment
The author’s previous studies have demonstrated the potential of stress–strain curve (SSC) analysis for diagnosing sintered tantalum pellets and formed anodes. This paper addresses the practical next step: establishing a structural benchmark and allowable deviations for assessing production lots. A linked database of process, mechanical, and electrical results is proposed. The method is intended to monitor the reproducibility of the anode’s mechanical state associated with confirmed manufacturing and test results.
