Peran Masyarakat Dalam Pengelolaan SDA Untuk Menjaga Kelestarian Lingungan: Studi Literatur

Natural resources (NR) play an important role in fulfilling human needs and maintaining ecosystem balance. However, the use of natural resources without considering environmental protection can cause environmental damage and threaten the availability of these resources for future generations. This study aims to understand the role of communities in natural resource management, forms of community participation, their contributions to environmental sustainability, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a literature review method by examining various written sources relevant to community-based natural resource management. The results indicate that communities play a role in protecting the environment through mutual cooperation, waste management, tree planting, forest and water source protection, and the application of local wisdom. Successful natural resource management is supported by active community participation, government support, environmental knowledge, and local wisdom. Meanwhile, low environmental awareness, limited funding and facilities, weak coordination, conflicts of interest, and economic pressures are factors that hinder its implementation. Therefore, cooperation between communities, the government, and relevant stakeholders is necessary to ensure sustainable natural resource management and maintain environmental preservation.
