Building an Architecture of Choice to Improve the Effectiveness of Corporate Demographic Policy
Given the negative demographic trends and the growing prospect of a labour resources shortage, it is necessary to understand how the effectiveness of corporate demographic policy, which serves as a tool for addressing these issues, can be improved. The testing of an analysis of the cognitive biases impact on employees’ demographic behaviour using the mediation method acts as a foundation for developing ways to enhance its effectiveness. These facts allowed to offer a choice architecture and to express it with the usage of nudge theory. The first presents a systematic list of cognitive biases and corresponding types of nudging in the context of making a reproductive decision. The developed choice architecture enables individuals to make more conscious and consistent decisions that support the goals of corporate demographic policy.
