From Assistant to Sovereign Autonomous Engineer: Closed-Loop Self-Auditing, Algorithmic Kernel Synthesis, and Autonomous Sprint Scheduling in Sampo AI OS V2
This technical whitepaper specifies the architecture of Sampo AI OS V2 ("Junior"), a sovereign, local-first multi-agent cognitive operating system engineered for autonomous software synthesis, deterministic execution, and closed-loop self-auditing. Departing from conventional conversational assistant paradigms, Sampo AI OS introduces an engineered realization of Global Workspace Theory (Baars, 1988), speculative code generation harnesses, and a closed-loop Direct Preference Optimization (DPO; Rafailov et al., 2023) self-alignment harness. The architecture enforces zero-trust execution boundaries through strict Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) static analysis, GBNF grammar-guided generation, and dynamic Knapsack token budget management. Evaluated across hermetic engineering benchmarks, the system demonstrates continuous self-supervised refinement, autonomous sprint scheduling, and mathematical safety guarantees required for mission-critical and sovereign deep-tech deployments.
